The Long Forgetting

Just a few days ago, I decided to enter my artwork in an international art competition.

I am very happy to learn that, out of 890 entries from 33 different countries, my digital painting, “The Long Forgetting”, is included in the Special Merit Category of the 5th Annual All Women Art Exhibition.
Inspired by Pablo Neruda’s poem, “If You Forget Me”, “The Long Forgetting” explores the struggle of a person caught in between letting go and fighting to keep a loved one from leaving.
